GRANTSJanuary 1998 - January 2001 Fetzer Institute Grant for a Center for
Consciousness Studies at the University of Arizona. Total 1.4 million
dollars for 3 years, with $43,000/year salary support for Stuart Hameroff as associate director.
In the past I have received grant funding from National Science Foundation (co -P.I. with Alwyn Scott) for studies of nonlinear dynamics in biomolecular systems, from the YeTaDel Foundation for quantum approaches to consciousness, from Pfizer-Roerig Pharmaceuticals for the study of the antidepressant doxepin in chronic pain states, and various clinical drug and equipment studies in anesthesiology.
Grant support for the “Quantum Mind 2003” conference comes from The YeTaDel Foundation, The Samueli Institute, The School of Computational Sciences, George Mason University as well as The Fetzer Institute.
